Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded on the Manga District online store (hereinafter "the Store"). Any order placed on the Store implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTCS.

Article 1 — Seller identification

Article 2 — Products

The Store offers for sale derivative products inspired by the world of manga and Japanese animation: figurines, nightlights, lamps, accessories, and decorative items.

The products are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, photographs, illustrations, and descriptions are not contractually binding: minimal variations in color or finish may exist, particularly depending on screens. In case of doubt, the customer may contact customer service before ordering.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC), excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are calculated and displayed before the final validation of the order.

The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; products are invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is registered.

For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.

Article 4 — Order

The ordering process includes the following steps: adding products to the cart, checking the summary, entering delivery details, choosing the payment method, then final validation implying acceptance of these GTCS.

A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent to the customer immediately after validation. The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer, suspected fraud, or previous non-payment.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made online, in cash, by one of the following means: bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, or any other means offered at the time of payment.

Transactions are secured by an SSL/TLS encryption protocol and processed by PCI-DSS certified providers. The Seller never has access to the customer's bank details and does not store any.

Article 6 — Delivery

Orders are delivered in metropolitan France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg, to the address indicated by the customer when placing the order.

Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 working days then delivered within an average of 7 to 15 working days. A tracking number is sent by email upon shipment. Full details can be found on the Delivery page.

In case of significant delay, the customer is invited to contact customer service, who will, if necessary, open an inquiry with the carrier. In case of proven loss of the package, the customer can choose between re-shipment of the product or a full refund.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify their decision.

The detailed procedure (conditions, return address, refund) is described on the Returns page. The refund is made within 14 days following receipt of the return, via the original payment method. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer, except for defective items or Seller error.

Article 8 — Legal guarantees

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, all products benefit from:

  • the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) — two years from delivery of the goods;
  • the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).

In case of non-conformity, the customer can choose between repair and replacement of the goods then, failing that, a reduction in price or resolution of the sale, under the conditions provided by law.

Article 9 — Liability

The Seller cannot be held responsible for non-performance of the contract in case of force majeure, unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or fault of the customer (incorrect delivery address in particular). The Seller's liability is in any case limited to the amount of the order concerned.

Article 10 — Intellectual property

All elements of the Store (texts, visuals, logos, layout) are protected by intellectual property law. Any total or partial reproduction without prior written authorization is prohibited. The brands and licenses cited belong to their respective owners.

Article 11 — Personal data

The data collected during the order is necessary for its processing and is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The customer notably has a right of access, rectification, and erasure of their data.

Article 12 — Customer service

Customer service is available 7 days a week via the contact page or at [email address]. A response is provided within 48 working hours.

Article 13 — Mediation and disputes

In case of a complaint, the customer is invited to first contact customer service. In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [name and contact details of the chosen mediator].

Article 14 — Applicable law

These GTCS are subject to French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the competent French courts.
